How To Get There

Kingston Estate

Staverton Nr Totnes

Devon

TQ9 6AR

TRAIN

There are regular trains available to the nearby town of Totnes. The connection from the station to the venue would have to be completed by car. Below are a list of local taxi firms.

AIR

The nearest airport is Exeter (approximately 40 minutes away), although we have found they have a very limited service.

Whilst Bristol airport is further away (around 90 minutes), it offers a much larger and cheaper service.

CAR

Travelling to the venue is by far the easiest by car and it also gives you access to all of the lovely local towns and villages.

Directions

Here are the directions from the venue:

Please do not put 'Kingston Estate' into your sat nav as this will take you down a bridleway which is not accessible to vehicles. Please use the post code TQ9 6AS to take you to a small hamlet outside Staverton village. Drive straight through the hamlet and on the next sharp bend you will see two grey stone pillars on the left next to a white cottage on the corner. Drive through the pillars and this will bring you down the estate driveway.

The directions we've found easier to follow are:

From Exeter proceed south bound on the A38 towards Plymouth exiting at the Dart Bridge junction signed Buckfastleigh and Totnes on the A384. From Plymouth please exit the A38 at Dartbridge junction signposted Buckfastleigh.

Follow the main road signs to Totnes/Staverton and proceed along this road for about 2.5 miles turning left at Charlie's Cross towards Staverton and Broadhempston and go past Bens Farmshop formerly Riverford Farmshop. There is a big sign on the junction.

Follow this lane for about 1 mile and at the T-junction next to the steam railway bear left towards Staverton. Follow this road along into the village, keeping left opposite the Sea Trout Inn. Keep straight along this road. As you leave the village, the road will fork. You will need to keep left (keep an eye out for one of our 'Simpson Wedding' sign posts here).

Follow this road approximately 1 mile where you will enter a small hamlet with some very sharp turns. Immediately after these sharp turns there is an entrance to the left with two grey pillars (keep an eye out for another one of our 'Simpson Wedding' sign posts here). Go through these pillars and this will take you up the Kingston driveway.
